Yusuf Kumtepe is a senior associate at Kabine Law Office. His work focuses on international arbitrations and cross-border transactions. He represented companies in construction, energy, pharmaceuticals, restaurant services, agriculture, and media industries in commercial arbitrations. He also worked with major Turkish contractors in their investment arbitrations against countries in the MENA and South Asia. In addition to his work in arbitration, Mr. Kumtepe gives corporate law advice to both controlling and minority shareholders in relation to their boardroom strategies and shareholder disputes. He also helps clients navigate through complex Turkish litigations and instructs legal counsel in foreign jurisdictions.

Mr. Kumtepe received the Fulbright grant and the 3C Foundation Scholarship to study at Columbia University for a degree in Master of Laws. He worked as a research assistant to Professor George A. Bermann and as a graduate student researcher at the Columbia Center on Sustainable Investment.
